GLOW-Advance Requirements

1. Promptness & Cheerfulness -Glow-Advance will begin at 10:00am at the given location. Please be there 10-15 minutes early. Remember that the LORD wants us to be happy as we work for Him. "Rejoice in the LORD always" Philipians 4:4   

2. $20- This $20 fee will cover the costs of trasportation while at the Advance. Please bring cash or check made out to "Central California Conference."

3. Dress Guidelines-Dress is truly individualistic. Each person has a right to his/her own likes and dislikes. The GLOW Program, however, reserves the right to require certain dress standards. Due to the unique nature of door to door work, we ask you to use the following dress code:

      A. Neat.  Ironed, clean, and impeccable personal hygiene. Men and women must be clean cut. Men are preffered to be clean shaven as well. 

      B. Professional.  First impressions are extremely important for door-to-door work.  Because of this we ask you, during   GLOW-Advance Sundays, to dress with a professional look.

  Men During GLOW-Advance: Cool slacks (no jeans), shirts with collars (no large advertising emblems on the shirts such as rock bands, colas, sports, etc.).

  Ladies during GLOW-Advance: Dresses, skirts (knee-length or longer), tops with sleeves (no advertising emblems such as music logos, colas, sports, etc.).

      C. Modest. Modesty is a part of the Christian life. In this area we particularly separate ourselves from worldly dress.  Clothes should not be tight-fitting or revealing in any way.  This is very important for your personal safety on the streets.

4. Work hard for Jesus

      We are working for the salvation of lost souls. The whole universe is watching with intense interest to see if we will share the love of Jesus with those who don't know. We want to work hard to Advance the kingdom of God. "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men" Colossians 3:23.
